Emilio Pucci incarnated in this fabulous print that could totally be resurrected in a spectacular Oscars gown...something chic and so luxe...I can imagine Sophia Lauren bedazzled in a gown to accept her award for "Two Women" at the 34th Annual Academy Awards in 1962. something flirty...clingy in just the right way...and simple...allowing all the abstract floral shapes to become the art not possible without the curves of a women's body. A consistency of a light chintz...I have seen scarves made from this pattern...but its thicker and more dress weight than scarf weight.
This offering is for ONE YARD x 45 inches wide of gorgeous cotton...I have 3YDS available sold by the yard....the play on whites and soft grays as the ground in large swaths allows the flowers and cascades to flourish beautifully...fluorescent pinks...neon chartreuse...purple....electric lollipop limes...asparagus lime...with black accents. I am quite sure my girl DVF would aspire to make a swank wrap dress from this original fabric in mint condition from the 60's. Unwashed...immaculate and ready for your design table.
