Chess Anyone? This fabulous nifty fifties unused yardage has all the makings to transform a space into a game room...which were all the rage in the 50's as mid century homes were becoming the dominant force in architecture and design...creating flowing spaces with large rooms for families...areas designed specifically for adults and kids...far away from each other...you can imagine a recreation room with a long knotty pine bar...terrazzo floors...a pool table and maybe a state of the art soda fountain and sliders out to the swimming pool.
This offering is for ONE YARD x 40 inches wide of a unused original unwashed old stock yardage...with a heavy textured barkcloth with a canteloupe like texture that is very commercial like...indicating this fabric very could have been used for a casino or 50's game type venue...it is unsigned and very well could have been privately printed for a specific design aspiration. It is very thick and you can feel it is much better quality than any run of the mill home fabrics. A white ground with vibrant cobalt/royal blue...true red...and burgundy...a prize for sure...don't let this wondrous opportunity pass you by. Expect mint cond.
