This auction is for nearly 2YDS x 48 inches wide of a never before used medium weight cotton barkcloth...original 50's iconic modernistic goodness! A colorway and pattern that play off each other in the most fantastical of ways...a sparseness that gives the impression of vastness...with inbetween radiant pops of color in shapes made to tug my heart strings...a myriad of connected antenna like kinetic shapes ...in red...electric lime...charcoal and black on a mottled white and soft gray ground. It has the original tag identifying the yardage...not a marker tag. The selvedge is signed "Best Obtainable Vat Dyes". Expect unused...unwashed immaculate yardage.
