Who doesn't LOVE a Key West tropical...I can still feel that special feeling of spending weeks in Key West in the 80's...my goal was to walk barefoot through through the streets like all the islanders...the 80's on that special island was not anything like it is today...it was grassroots...local...the artists and craftsman lived in homes on the island...way before the unbridled tourism of the 90's and 2000's that brought the toxicity of the cruise ships...it was a special time to know shop keepers...a small group of antique collectors that all knew each other. It was like being transported back in time. A place on earth that existed way before overpulation of the world robbed its soul. A place where original barkcloth could be found at tiny neighborhood antique stores or on someones front porch at a sale...where key lime and cotton went hand in hand...oh those were the days!
This offering is for ONE YARD x 49 inches wide of treasured unused original 30's 40's old stock...I have 4YDS available being sold by the yard...its a premium print that showcases tons of colors...a garden cottage style on a deep dark emerald green textured barkcloth ground with a fabulous nubby texture.
