Nor can any reproduction of times thereafter truly be unique...only a reproduction of what was. For to live in that time is not something easily captured...it is but something buried in a time capsule...what is left are relics of the period...including humans and these iconic atomic fabrics that tell a story...a story of what was...inspired through a magical force of trust in science...space knowledge and the designers who were clammoring to help tell that story through cotton prints.
This offering is for ONE YARD x 36 inches wide of something so extraordinary...captivating and colorful...you will think you died and went to heaven...or the moon...whichever you prefer :) I have 4 and one half yards available being sold individually. A robust unused...unwashed FABULOUS turquouse ground that is the perfect host to the atomic...abstract shapes of tiger shark images...bold tangerine orange...cool honeydew lime...varied mid century woodsy chocolates...with black and white. If you are a collector or designer...and you follow the vintage barkcloth markets...you know these opportunities never happen...these relics are buried deep in my collection...brought to you by a perpetual collector with a collection that spans more than 30 years.
