This offering is for ONE ready to hang extremely rare print of 30's 40's barkcloth...I have another match also available sold individually...the black grounds are always a rare commodity to find...but when you start adding banana leaves...AND pink and greens to the mix...you have something completely for the more persnickety of collectors...this colorway while it heralds a certain Miami Beach style...has long attracted the California collectors...the old Hollywood...vintage Los Angeles crowd...a print like this is so rare and unheard of being found anymore that one could put any price tag...as there are no others to compare it to...a black ground...the black is not a deep dark midnight black...nor do I think it ever was...its more of a charcoal black...possibly a tad bit of overall fade to it from when it was first made 80- years ago...but you can't really notice it much...the banana leaves in their precious aqua...celadon...and creamy turquoise blue...paired with flamingo pinks...magenta...a chartreuse that may also read as slight tangerine up close...you be the judge...signed "Guaranteed Vat Colors". Strong as can be...the back side is still as white and clean and untouched as the day it was made...showing how these really got very little sun...see my pic of the front and backside together...measures 47 inches wide x 78/79 inches long with a 3 inch hem. Washed...clean...ironed back to perfection...no wear...holes...stains...or imperfections. Just sheer SWANK!
