This offering is for a little over a yard (40 inches) x 49 inches wide of this super cool groovy 60's BOHO CHIC upholstery cotton fabric that I am calling "SURF-ETTE" as it reminds me of a surfer girl from the 1960's who used this fabric to make pillows for her posh apartment on Venice Beach...and had matching upholstered luggage made for her trip to Hawaii for the ultimate in rip curls...a heavy cotton...not a traditional textured barkcloth...with a pattern so retro and so fabulous...these prints went into hiding for a while as there was little interest in these period fabrics until the last decade that revealed the truth...that all trends do return...today it would be called Boho Chic...Retro Apartment...Euro MOD...Groovy Pad...or how about POSH COTTAGE! A colorway unparalleled...a celestial oceana blue ground with pops of powder blue...cerulean blue...turquoise green...creamy aqua Caribbean blue green...fatigue olive/avocado with black and white accents. It is signed "A Waverly Bonded Fabric Belleville Gardens"...one could totally transform a space with this special stuff...upholster a chair...make draperies...it is unused original old stock 1960's upholstery fabric...you will love it more in person!
