It doesn't get any better than this...I can remember this pattern long ago when I was cleaning out the St James Hotel in 1989...it was derelict...run down...it was mostly housing homeless and refugees...it was drug infested and despite that it has all the original draperies still hanging on the guest room windows...in fact the furnishings were almost all left in place from the 20's and 30's...I remember the inlaid pastel colored broken cuban tiles on the terraces in pink...blue...mint...and cobalt blue...I knocked on most all doors and offered cash for the draperies...most struck a deal...some refused...some took the cash with the agreement I would return with shades! The St James was one of my greatest gold mines...I still have bins in storage with draperies marked in permanent marker "St James Miami". This pattern while not from the St James...was one of the premier patterns that dominated the 2nd and 3rd floor guest rooms.
This offering is for something iconic and priceless...ONE ready to hang drapery panel...I have another match also available...the colors are BRAND NEW...the darkest green ground is dark and unfaded as if it was made today...electric limes and citron greens...aqua green blue...orchid pinks and purple pinks...dark lime...creamy banana yellow...with dark chocolate/almost eggplant and white accents...a thick and nubby texture barkcloth...this huge remnant is the perfect stuff for exclusive designing...upholstery...for the very best and most persnickety of clients! Check and pinch in on all the close up pics for the most ORGASMIC textures!Measures 48 inches wide x 100 inches long with a 3 inch hem...so much to work with...and of course for those with long windows...this allows the impossible with floor to ceiling vintage tropical barkcloth draperies...come n get em :) If you need them lined message me...if using as draperies I'd add a wonderful luxe black out lining and keep em alive forever!
