I love the freshness of colors in this beautiful vintage yardage...the sunlight just really brings out that fresh allure of ecru and stunning cotton...when I was living in the north I was absolute that my draperies be light...fresh and summery...I prefered to pretend it was winter outside by fooling myself from within...my mother always changed out draperies for the seasons...she loved it and she reveled in it...the winter brought a darker and heavier drapery...with sheer panels between...it was pretty...but I craved the opposite...we who suffer from the winter blues...this is just a little something to allow light and joy into our nest.
This offering is for ONE YARD x 49 inches wide...I have 8YDS available sold by the yard. A fab ecru ground is the perfect color host for the other colors to really pop...lots of burgundy red...jadeite green...deep eggplant...even a slight wash of citron yellow...chocolates...grays and coral pink...signed "Guaranteed to be Vat Prints"...there is a texture to this fabric that is within the 17 idenifiable textures that were sold under the umbrella name of "barkcloth". It is not a traditionl weave...perhaps more light and airy and perfect for any upholstery project.
Expect to be transported back in time with this beautiful yardage. It is in brand new 1930's condition.
