This lone drapery panel hails from the 1950's where it was made and for some reason and really who ever really knows why these things never get used...and wind up in the attic...this one even has a little original marker tag still attached to the edge...towards the late 40's these commercial rayon fabrics started to show up on the design scene...and by the 1950's they were sweeping hearts and soothing souls...

This offering is for ONE ready to hang 1950's drapery panel...a design rayon with maybe a titch of cotton...very heavy...it has a luxe and beauty to it that is iconic to the period...a beautiful tone on tone yellow and cream ground with leaves...humongous cabbage roses in shabby chic shades of pinkish reds and a ton of purple pinks...dove and sweet romantic grays...foliage in minty aqua greens and dark green and white accents...
Measures 25 inches at top pleats...46 inches wide at bottom width and just a tad short of 90 inches long...signed on the selvedge "A Penfast Fabric Guaranteed Vat Prints"...
