There is a lil bitta a Margaritaville in this masterful 1930's pattern of authentic barkcloth yardage...unused old stock in PREMIER condition...I watch any Key West show I can...most recently I got hooked on Dale Earnhart Jr and his wife's spectacular rehab on HGTV of their Key West hideaway...if you haven't checked it at I am sure it is on demand...of course there is nothing like my days in the 80's walking barefoot down Duval Street...sunbathing with the queens on the pier of the Atlantic Shores Motel...it was a time...a period that can never be again...maybe my biggest regret in this life...that you can't repeat great times...Key West in the 80's was a time and a place that when I think about it I can feel it in my blood running through my veins...my bones and especially my heart...flooding of memories...good times and a place less commercialized...pre cruise ships that allowed middle america access to this sweet spot...we can at least have fabrics in our homes that are reminders of those times...and create spaces of our own Key West in our hearts and minds...
This offering is for ONE YARD x 47 inches wide of a exquisite unused original old stock barkcloth fabric...I have 8 yards of this beautiful stuff...the cleanest and most perfect barkcloth you will ever see...impeccably flawless...the white is stark...not even a fold line anywhere...great for upholstery projects...pillows...draperies...sweet mix of colors...lots of cobalt blues that fade to summer sky blue...burgundy red...dark chocolate...with tropical fiddler leaves in the most eccentric greens...creamy lime...grassy jadeite...emerald turquoise green and a even darker hue of that...bold...true and life changing!
