Banana LEAVES...the barkcloth equivalent of ORGASMIC...oh my what these big ole leaves can do to a person...we all have our kinky fetishes...and some of us over here just prefer to be left alone with some 40's tropical barkcloth!!! For it possesses something not much else does...it conveys a vibe...a detailed very particular coming together of colors...scale...pattern and texture...that creates this most magical of substance...you can see just how much power they dictate to my guest room...without them the room simply wouldn't be the same...these powerful little valances...have such power in small quantities...
This offering is for ONE ready to hang drapery valance...I have 3 available...(I have 2 shown in my photos...so expect half of what you see in one valance)...I have them shown on ring clips...but there is a rod pocket at the top for a rod to slide through...I just like ring clips cuz they are just so easy breezy...sophisticated and take it up a notch...but if hung on a traditional rod it would all be laid out flat with a whole different presentation than I've shown...expect a color palette of pure rare beauty...a dove gray ground...stunning pomegranate red and darkest burgundy raspberry float beside these beautiful jadeite greens...deepest darkest turquoise green...creamy cucumber mint...chartreuse lemon and lime...with black and white accents...
Measurements: Each measures approx. 78 inches wide x 12 inches long...now you can hang these as they are or you can fancy them up using our sewing services to customize them...I could add this valance to a whole top of a solid coordinating drapery panel that would hang to the floor and do some color blocking to bring up to modern trends...or I can extend the valance to make it longer and a tad bit snazzier with a 4 inch pomegranate solid barkcloth header at the top and 2 inch solid hem at the bottom...maybe even go with a solid black as the hem...whatever the case we know how to customize these antique beauties to today's trends...message us for a quote and we can customize an auction for ya!
