This offering is for ONE YARD x 52 inches wide of unused unwashed original old stock fabric in a nice heavier weight smooth cotton canvas. I have 13YDS available sold by the yard at this fantastic price that will come in continuous yardage. They say you can’t time travel...I disagree...imagine being able to go back to the time period of the production of this piece...because essentially that is what you are doing. This signed yardage has so many wonderful details and imagery...the more you look the more you find...I thought I had found it all and then I see a gaggle of swans and a fisherman! Fantastic colors...candy apple red...the most beautiful sky blue juxtaposed to that candied red is just a chefs kiss :)....golden butterscotch...varied dark teal and limes...charcoal gray...chartreuse...latte...chocolate with black and white accents. This fabric was designed and signed by Albert Hubbell who was born in 1908 and died in 1994...an accomplished American illustrator...writer and poet...he had a prolific multi decade career with The New Yorker. Born in Minnesota...studied in Paris and embedded himself in the fabric of The New Yorker. Always a treat to have a signed fabric where you can find out about the origins. This fabric is flawless...not textured like that of a traditional barkcloth...is smooth and would be perfect for upholstery...drapery and pillows and some Cape Cod Autumnal market touts wouldn’t be a bad idea. Flawless.
