Florida Bungalow was one of the first innovators to create huge quality dramatic and flamboyant pillows for 30 something years. I am known for the antique shows and textile shows throughout the country and especially Miami Beach. I have a unusual creative eye that conjures up unique and precious pieces of vintage art by todays standards. So let us transport you back to a time and place far from today in a world of everlasting nostalgia and whimsy.
This offering is for ONE barkcloth pillow cover with free ship. If you’d like it stuffed, please contact me. It’s called Design Samoa as it was signed on the selvedge...and it comes with so many tropical notes it’ll sing you a tropical medley. A creamy white ground with a concoction of fun and colorful leaves that are so captivating. Huge leaves in eggplant and grape purples...celadon jadeite greens...chartreuse...zingy lime...deep dark aquamarine turquoise blues...dark emerald...lime...candy apple red...juicy bubble gum pink...with black accents. I created a flamboyant surround of double piping in electric lime and grape to honor the pattern in just the right way. Paired with a luxe creamy lime green velvet backside. It measures 21 " x 20" in size and has a hidden zipper for easy insert of a pillow form, which is not included. if you would like one, please contact me. If you were alive 80 years ago and had some coins...who needs to travel to Samoa when you can see it right on a chair in your living room.
