This auction is for ONE YARD x 49 inches wide of unused unwashed premium yardage with a colorway and pattern so rare and unusual...I have 9YDS available sold by the yard...the more you buy the more will come in continuous yardage. Imagine a Honolulu hotel in 1962 and the types of fabrics they would have been using...mosty more subtle earth tones for the more organic styling...but for the more flagrant Polynesian like the fabrics you would have seen in outrageous hotels and hmmm definitely the rooms at Disney’s Polynesian Resort in the 1970’s...where guests would leave with not only the feeling of having been in Hawaii...but it was an ideology tourists took back home with them...inspired to redecorate their homes in chilly Iowa or Chicago...Alaska!! I honorably call this Aunt Betty...cuz she had an eye for design back in the 60’s...she and Uncle Jack had a mid century cabin made with all all cypress paneling...it was on the Metedeconk River in New Jersey...she decorated with patterns and color ways liken this...and while she couldn’t stand Unc’s drinking...she up and flew away into divorce’ parade with her fabulous fabrics...never to be heard or seen again. I miss Aunt Betty! Umm...maybe more than Uncle Jack! lol. A fantastical turquoise blue ground...almost feels like a cold rayon...but it is a polished cotton...smooth...with tangerine...rusty orange... caramel...wasabi lime...creamy lemon yellow...purple...lollipop lime...chocolates with black accents. Signed “Samoa An Original Screen Print”. A nice medium upholstery weight. There is a very faint fold line down center from being folded on the bolt for decades. It is flawless and brand new old stock. Flawless.
