A straight up smooth quality cotton...with the most fabulous SPLASHY hawaiian floral...with seed berries...coconut leaf...plumeria...huge orchids...in a colorway that’ll take you right back to a flashy Honolulu chic hotel with lots of war teak woods...gold mirrors...chrome bubble lamps...and cork walls. Of course 1977 was a bittersweet year...it was the year I was bullied horrendously for wearing my stacked rainbow flip flops to school in 6th grade all winter...and the sliver pelted bells bottoms from the Sears huskies department didn’t help...but that red tee shirt with a big rig truck surrounded by hibiscus flowers and the words “keep on truckin”...just made me their bus stop snack! ;) But to me 1977 always incarnates Farrah Faucett and Andy Gibb...some swank Charlie’s Angels” :) This fabric just has that heirloom transport-ability that takes you back to snapshot in time and my brain thrives on that junque. A colorway so swank...so earth tone...dark chocolate...rusty brown oranges...tangerine...blood orange...banana yellow...mocha...with the darkest chocolate that almost looks black...with white accents.
