3-YDS Erté Miro & Verner Panton Collaborate 1950’s Atomic Art Deco Barkcloth Vintage Fabric

$395.00

This offering is for a few inches shy of 3YDS x 48 inches wide (104”long) of unused unwashed glorious yardage with a textile design history lesson embodied...it is as if Vernor Panton...Erté and Joan Miro went to an early breakfast for cocktails ;) and conjured up this beauty. It has all the decades of mid century represented...the Art Deco era through Erté...the mid century kinetics of Miro and the wikl side of shapeliness of Verner Panton. A latte chino ground textured in a almost snake skin texture of barkcloth that was commonly used by CoFabCo. The use of history gold metallic another lesson in the design of this fabric. While this fabric was made in the mid 1950’s...you can see the leanings from literal Art Deco movement to the future of the 1970’s and how it stole a little bit of Art Deco history from the 20’s in a more contemporary way. I just am in love with it and the joy of photographing...thank you delightful textile for the interlude! Gold metallic...shell blush pink...chocolate with black and white accents. Signed “CoFabCo Fully Guaranteed Print”. If you thrive on flawless historic heirloom textiles...well you will definitely appreciate this.
