It is hard to love vintage fabrics and not be also completely smitten with the glam wallpapers that went hand in hand...and while the fabric stores were quite separate from each other in terms of sales and buying...it was indeed still a coveted network of fabric store workers and wallpaper store workers who knew each other by name and referred people to each other. Today I have delved a bit into the vintage wallpapers...I have a closet or two full of the most delicious tropical rolls...mostly with bamboo as I was obsessed with bamboo lime wallpaper :). But this fabric has all the visuals of wallpaper...except it is cotton yardage...I am sure somewhere...someplace...in some time...there is a wallpaper out there in this very fabric pattern.
This offering is for ONE YARD x 40 inches wide of unused unwashed fantastic cotton...I have 10YDS available sold by the yard...so buy as much as you need and it will come in continuous yardage...an everglaze chintz...a light chintz...with a very light sheen barely visible to the eye...a ecru latte ground is the perfect canvas for the raspberry...jadeite...teals...combined with luxe coffees and chocolates in just about every color of the cocoa rainbow...periwinkle lavender...creamy bubble gum pink. Perfect for draperies and pillows...upholstery or whatever your creative obsessions lean today...I have more...cutting from the bolt here...so lemme know if I can make ya happier with more. Expect flawless old stock 30's medium weight smooth cotton...not thick and nubby like a traditional barkcloth. A scrumptious pattern at an even more delicious deal.
