For those newbies on the scene who weren't around in the 90's and early 2000's when Glen Court was the absolute thrill of the hunt...to find some genuine Glen Court was about like striking diamonds...rubies...pearls!! Glen Court signified the difference between every day type fabrics and those more special...more higher end for the period...sold not at the local Five and Dime...but rather at design stores and door to door sales where spiffy salesmen brought sample catalogs and suitcases full of remnant samples...it was the height of cottage dwelling in the 1930's...a style that was vogue then and still trends...cottage is a look that will never die so long as it lives in the hearts and minds through nostalgia...and what better way to bring some nostalgia to your life than some authentic creamy white yardage of Glen Court herself...in my own experience it was the wealthier homes...the old victorians that had bedroom draperies and bedding in these patterns and the many varied colorways of Glen Court...
This offering is for ONE ready to hang GLORIOUS drapery panel...I have FOUR available...the colors on this piece are amazing...there is this delicious electric lime that fades to creamy lime...seriously that color has me at HELLO :)...pinky red...bubble gum pink...shell pink...periwinkle...cobalt...shades of grays...dark lime...jade greens...with darkest charcoal gray and bright white accents...on a sweet romantic creamy dove gray an white leafy stripe...washed and immaculate.,..very little use these have had...not an ounce of wear or fading...I've photographed the back side to give you an idea of the lack of use on this grand premier queen of the cottage BALL...each panel measures 25 at pleats...43 inches wide at bottom width and a whopping 86 inches long...each panel has been completely deconstructed and washed...and then remade into a perfect drapery panel.
