A refuge of similar souls coming together in awe of seeing...touching and reveling in vintage barkcloth treasures...a sacred space of good will and cotton...dreamy...I can envision it now...pews painted in the most sophisticated chippy primitive whitewash...adorned with fresh tied roses at the ends...walls and walls of textile samplings...shelving of deluxe folded delights...sanctuaries of barkcloth books...and vignettes of McCoy pastel potteries beside folded piles of neatly folded stacks of tropical barkcloth...this church shall be named Florida Bungalow Church of Barkcloth...and will be a place of gathering similar old souls...a retreat for the cotton weary...a place to connect with that favorite nana or dear mother...aunt...uncle or special soul that instilled barkcloth and cottage chic into your hearts...a place of reflection...honor and preservation of cotton and self...yes...it is already my space inside my head and heart...my sanctuary and refuge of my Florida Bungalow...a dream I live and breath every day of my life...within the confines of my picket fence...palms and walls of my empathic heart...I remain...committed to the goodness of cotton :)
