I am known for the antique shows and textile shows throughout the country and especially Miami Beach. I have a unusual creative eye that conjures up unique and precious pieces of vintage art by todays standards. This offering is for ONE barkcloth pillow that comes WITH an insert and free shipping! A popular pattern when the online markets opened in the 90’s...people could not get enough of this romantic sensation called barkcloth in a patternry of pure lushness and Hollywood exotica. A textured nubby unused 1930’s barkcloth cut from my bolt to make this glammy Hollywood starlet squad. I call this beauty aubergine...because there are so many glorious purples and lavenders...combined with purply pinks...deep dark merlot...golden lemon bordering chartreuse...creamy charcoal and dove grays...deep dark teal...jadeite and sweet minty greens that up against those aubergine purples is just the cherry on top...accented with a dark chocolate. Paired in such a way to bring out all the madness of palpable colors...Im used a double piping in lavender and blush pink...and a luxe gorgeous aubergine purple velvet backside. It measures 21 " x 20" in size and has a hidden zipper for easy insert of a pillow form. Sometimes there are patterns that just flow into your heart...that make your heart weep with nostalgia and memories in a vintage...old fashioned...missing the beloveds who were alive and part of the innovation of these precious barkcloth fabrics.
