I've only seen this once and it was a original salesman sample...it is extremely rare post Art Deco 1940's barkcloth...bordering on the enlightenment of mid century modern...if you have an eye and obsession like I do of the 30's - 50's...you can recognize the movement and lines of images that were reflective of both periods...having dramatic nearly life size SEAGULLS and a even more rare commodity of dolphins on a original authentic barkcloth fabric...it is something you likely won't ever see again...
This offering is for ONE YARD x 35 inches wide of unused unwashed off the bolt grand yardage...I have 11YDS available sold by the yard. In a spectacular patternry of seagulls in a mid century display of beach or lake life...pond life...or anywhere seagulls flock. A white smooth chintz...very nice weft and feel...thin...but heavy upholstery weight as these chintz’s stack up against some of the thicker fabrics even better as upholstery. A eggshell white ground with powder blues...lemon yellow...aquamarine blues...orchid purples...lavender pink...milky caramel chocolate...celery green...blood orange tangerine...gorgeous coral pink...burgundy dark chocolates.
