Florida Bungalow was one of the first innovators to create huge quality dramatic and flamboyant pillows for 30 something years. I am known for the antique shows and textile shows throughout the country and especially Miami Beach. I have a unusual creative eye that conjures up unique and precious pieces of vintage art by todays standards. This offering is for ONE barkcloth pillow cover AND insert...a design of premium rare black textured nubby barkcloth from the 1930's upcycled into a pillow that comes to life in the most sensational Art Deco of ways. It is ALL South Beach...if you've lived a past in South Beach or at least in your mind...then you know this is a literal example of the designs populating the hotel scene in Miami Beach in the 1930's. Black has always been rare and it remains highly collectible today. A textured black ground with flamboyant fan palms and a dramatic abstract palm that runs up either side that just screams at me! magenta...deep dark burgundy...plentiful aquas and turquoise greens...chartreuse yellow and lime...creamy gray...with darkest chocolate and white accents. Paired deliciously with a double piping of chartreuse lime and aqua...a extraordinary popping jewel tone luxe velvet pink bedecks the backside in the most luxuriating way. Measures 22" wide x 22" long. The insert IS included.
