Florida Bungalow was one of the first innovators to create huge quality dramatic and flamboyant pillows for 30 something years. I am known for the antique shows and textile shows throughout the country and especially Miami Beach. I have a unusual creative eye that conjures up unique and precious pieces of vintage art by todays standards. So let us transport you back to a time and place far from today in a world of everlasting nostalgia and whimsy.
This offering is for ONE barkcloth pillow cover...a little bit 0of home couture of your weary eyes...a decadent luxe dark chocolate unused textured nubby barkcloth...cut from my original 1930's bolt...as if you were able to time travel yourself right back to 1937 to have a grand pillow created. Lush deep dark teals...aqua Tiffany blue green...candied red...lattes and mochas galore...with dramatic electrified chartreuse yellow and limes...with black and white accents. Paired swanky with a double piping in zingy lime and turquoise and a sweet luxe dark teal velvet backside completely capitalizing on the fabulous bones of this pattern and colorway. It measures 22 " x 21" in size and has a hidden zipper for easy insert of a pillow form, which is not included. if you would like one, please contact me. It was high glamour 80 years ago and is celebrating a renaissance of grandeur by todays standards of construction and decadence.
