Florida Bungalow was one of the first innovators to create huge quality dramatic and flamboyant pillows for 30 something years. I am known for the antique shows and textile shows throughout the country and especially Miami Beach. I have a unusual creative eye that conjures up unique and precious pieces of vintage art by todays standards. So let us transport you back to a time and place far from today in a world of everlasting nostalgia and whimsy.

This offering is for ONE barkcloth pillow cover WITH INSERT...most all of these cottage floral designs I create are inspired by my great nana Olive Mae...her bungalow was adorned with cottage florals and she loved blue...she continues to inspire me in a way I honor her though making hearts happy. A unused 1930's smooth straight up cotton in the most feminine beautiful palest blue...cut from the bolt I've had for decades. Loaded with abracadabra striped roses...cottage roses...iris and dephiniums...fabulous candied reds bleeding into merlot...bubble gum pink...shell pink...purple...sky blue...lavender...golden chartreuse...creamy banana yellow...lattes and beige creams...foliage in creamy sage greens with white accents. Paired in the most captivating of ways with a double piping in dark rose and blush pink and a luxe cotton candy pink velvet backside. It measures 22 " x 22" in size and has a hidden zipper for easy insert of a pillow form. Our nanas...mommies and aunties may not be with us...but sometimes a vintage pillow can make you feel as close to sitting next to them to get through it! ;)
