Florida Bungalow was one of the first innovators to create huge quality dramatic and flamboyant pillows for 30 something years. I am known for the antique shows and textile shows throughout the country and especially Miami Beach. I have a unusual creative eye that conjures up unique and precious pieces of vintage art by todays standards. So let us transport you back to a time and place far from today in a world of everlasting nostalgia and whimsy.
This offering is for ONE barkcloth pillow cover WITH INSERT...when it comes to some of the most beautiful of Hollywood Glamour and the designs that spilled from that iconic period...designs like this could never be overlooked...especially if the smell of freesia sends orgasms through your psyche like it does mine. Throughout my life I remember vases of freesia and the aroma on a bathroom sink...and I continued the tradition in my adult life. You'll be hard pressed to not find a vase if freesia in my bungalow! A unused fabulous stark white textured nubby ground...glorious purples and lavenders...some bordering on heather blue...bold popping chartreuse...bubble gum pink...magenta pink...dark chartreuse...with foliage in celadon jadeite greens and avocado with deepest darkest chocolate that may appear black. Paired in just the most special way with a double piping in magenta and deep dark purple and a unused vintage jadeite green textured barkcloth for the backside. It measures 22 " x 21" in size and has a hidden zipper for easy insert of a pillow form. I know money can't buy happiness...wait a minute...what am I saying...of course it does darlings! ;)
