Florida Bungalow was one of the first innovators to create huge quality dramatic and flamboyant pillows for 30 something years. I am known for the antique shows and textile shows throughout the country and especially Miami Beach. I have a unusual creative eye that conjures up unique and precious pieces of vintage art by todays standards. So let us transport you back to a time and place far from today in a world of everlasting nostalgia and whimsy.
This offering is for ONE barkcloth pillow cover WITH INSERT...where all the planets aligned for the most terrific of lavenders and purples for which to welcome the luxe and grandeur of our nana's...mothers and aunties...reigning in all the bells and whistles of what we treasure from their memory and from an era gone by. A heavily textured unused nubby barkcloth cut from the bolt in a creamy charcoal ground with orchid purples...divine pinks...periwinkle and lavender...juicy magenta...dark chocolate...lattes and custardy creams....foliage flanking the florals in minty celery green and darker sage lime with white accents. I've done my earnest best 0to bring out all the pinks and purples by adding a double piping in lavender and blush pink...and a sweetly aubergine lavender luxe velvet backside. It measures 22 " x 19" in size and has a hidden zipper for easy insert of a pillow form. There is a sweet spot in all our hearts...and this swanky beauty exudes everything you'll need to feed that sweet spot.
