I am known for the antique shows and textile shows throughout the country and especially Miami Beach. I have a unusual creative eye that conjures up unique and precious pieces of vintage art by todays standards. This offering is for ONE barkcloth pillow cover AND insert with free shipping! This rare and incredible piece of rare textile art is unused original old stock barkcloth from 1950. Cut from the original bolt to make this masterpiece. It is designed by Rockwell Kent born in New York in 1882 and died in 1971, His works included thus special pattern produced by Saison Happily Married Fabrics” in 1950... and documented as such in the Museum of Metropolitan Art. It is called “Deer Season”. A fantastic colorway that catapults this design into a whole other arena. I made one of these for Kyle Richards in Beverly Hills for her new home! A phenomenal deep dark teals...emerald greens...pops of chartreuse...cobalt navy blue...minty greens...jadeite greens...celery creams...with white accents. Paired with a double piping in ecru and emerald green...with a luxe dramatic classy dark emerald teal velvet backside. .Measures 21" wide x 21" long. With a hidden zipper for easy removal of insert. if you have that eye for the good stuff that is albeit a blessing and a curse...well then your eye may get stuck on this artful beaut and you won’t get a moment’s rest until it is tucked away on your velvet club chair in your vernacular.
