Florida Bungalow was one of the first innovators to create huge quality dramatic and flamboyant pillows for 30 something years. I am known for the antique shows and textile shows throughout the country and especially Miami Beach. I have a unusual creative eye that conjures up unique and precious pieces of vintage art by todays standards. Before there was Ralph Lauren...there were textile artisans creating the same patterns decades before in a ode to classic victoriana. This French Country design in a very subtle ecru and creamy sweet corn yellow has all the bells and whistles to create a dominancy of destiny on any sofa or chair...lounger...or boudoir bench. A cotton canvas cut from the original bolt from the 1930’s...so unused and brand new antique! Subtle heather and baby blues...shell pink and rustic pinks...variations of sage greens...lattes...taupes...dark chocolate...oyster...and white create a very special colorway that completes the patternry. Paired with a sophisticated double piping in cream and powder blue and a textured nubby barkcloth backside in a creamy heather sky blue. It measures 23 " x 22" in size and has a hidden zipper for easy insert of a pillow form. There’s a place for Ralph in todays design markets...we love Ralph...but there is only one true vintage...and it is right here for your taking for a time transportive travel back to 1936 when this fabric was created and hidden away...unknowing its beauty wouldn’t be known for 80 years.
