Florida Bungalow was one of the first innovators to create huge quality dramatic and flamboyant pillows for 30 something years. I am known for the antique shows and textile shows throughout the country and especially Miami Beach. I have a unusual creative eye that conjures up unique and precious pieces of vintage art by todays standards. So let us transport you back to a time and place far from today in a world of everlasting nostalgia and whimsy.
This offering is for ONE very fabulous pillow cover with INSERT made by Florida Bungalow and in one of my most treasured designs. One of the most premium collectible patterns ever made by Spectrum Fabrics in the late 1930's/1940. A deluxe flamboyance that brings life to any space...a deep dark raspberry burgundy red...cut right from the original bolt right behind it in the photos :). I have always had a attachment to this pattern...first seeing it in abandoned hotels in Miami Beach in the 80's as draperies and upholstery on club chairs. The ground color is the perfect color to mix with other unexpected and gorgeous colors...a predominance of aqua...chartreuse...candy pink...lemon yellow...magenta pink...varied light grays...dark emerald teal lime...with black and white accents. I've done this pattern justice by adding a coordinating aqua piping trim and a rich jewel tone emerald teal luxe velvet backside to really add some plush luxeness! Measures 22" wide x 20" long and has a hidden zipper for easy insert of a pillow form insert. The pillow form insert is not included as it adds too much to ship, but I will tell you where to get one for about $20. These timeless rare patterns have the ability to transform a space with chair or sofa art...can you imagine what this beauty can do!
