Ms Vivian Miami Beach 50's Barkcloth Vintage Fabric Mid Century PILLOW

Florida Bungalow was one of the first innovators to create huge quality dramatic and flamboyant pillows for 30 something years. I am known for the antique shows and textile shows throughout the country and especially Miami Beach. I have a unusual creative eye that conjures up unique and precious pieces of vintage art by todays standards. So let us transport you back to a time and place far from today in a world of everlasting nostalgia and whimsy.

This offering is for ONE barkcloth pillow cover with INSERT!..an ode to an old friend Ms. Vivian who had a fabulous apartment in South Beach in the 80's and 90's. We met at the antique market and she invited me to see her bolts of barkcloth. I left with those bolts and this fabric is cut from one of them. A pattern that oozes South Beach 1950. A crisp white textured nubby barkcloth with whimsical tropical foliage in flamingo pink...magenta...teal lime...aqua turquoise...latte...fennel putty green...creamy lemon yellow...with black accents. Paired with a gorgeous pink piping trim with a coordinating creamy aqua turquoise backside. It measures 22 " x 22" in size and has a hidden zipper for easy insert of a pillow form. Vivian always had the best iced tea on her terrace...think of her as you drink your tea cozying up to this fabulous madness of barkcloth incredibility.
