I am known for the antique shows and textile shows throughout the country and especially Miami Beach. I have a unusual creative eye that conjures up unique and precious pieces of vintage art by todays standards. So let us transport you back to a time and place far from today in a world of everlasting nostalgia and whimsy.
This offering is for ONE barkcloth pillow cover with INSERT. Oh my STAAAAARZ! This Miami Beach bathing beauty has all the bells and whistles of post Art Deco mid century Miami Beach. Leaping showcases the spirit of whimsical and colorful imagery that symbolized the period. A creamy gray ground...a cotton canvas...wiothn bright lemon and creamy turquoise...dark chocolate...with white accents. I paired it with a swank double piping in aqua and lemon with a bold turquoise backside. It measures 21 " x 18" in size and has a hidden zipper for easy insert of a pillow form. The movement of leaping animals...almost circus like...was a palpable ideology in the minds of many talented and iconic designs that came out of Miami Beach!
