Florida Bungalow was one of the first innovators to create huge quality dramatic and flamboyant pillows for 30 something years. I am known for the antique shows and textile shows throughout the country and especially Miami Beach. I have a unusual creative eye that conjures up unique and precious pieces of vintage art by todays standards. So let us transport you back to a time and place far from today in a world of everlasting nostalgia and whimsy.
This offering is for ONE novelty pillow cover WITH INSERT. I was so inspired by the cuteness of this novelty circus skirt pattern from the 1950's that I was losing sleep over it...so I got up and created a sweet pillow for the nostalgic in all of us. A sweet portrayal of carnival life...perhaps Coney Island or any whimsical spot where rides and carnivals resonate! A calico floral ground with a print meant to look like quilting images. A Ferris wheel...a caged lion...a mother and child and another sweet curious child gazing at the delights. Lots of turquoise aqua blue greens...lemon yellow...bubble gum pink...purple and lavenders...with black and white accents. Paired deliciously with a double piping in pink and aqua with a luxe pink velvet backside. It measures 19 " x 19" in size and has a hidden zipper for easy insert of a pillow form. When cuteness abounds...don't sleep on it...is your view in your home not worthy of such whimsical beauty!
