Rainforest Leafy Art Deco Miami Beach Mid Century Barkcloth Vintage Fabric Reversible PILLOW

Florida Bungalow was one of the first innovators to create huge quality drama and flamboyant pillows for 30 something years. I am known for the antique shows and textile shows throughout the country and especially Miami Beach. I have a unusual creative eye that conjures up unique and precious pieces of vintage art by todays standards. So let us transport you back to a time and place far from today in a world of everlasting nostalgia and whimsy.

This offering is for ONE barkcloth pillow cover. A true reversible pillow for the mod swingers swinging from the chandeliers! Design Parakeet is one of the long standing abstract bird patterns that you may have to look closely and adjust your eyes a tad..and you will see a parakeet in abstract form. I like to add my signature by using remnants of the selvedge and the original writing as shown in photos in the piping. A creamy white textured nubby barkcloth with bold red...turquoise...avocado lime...creamy honeydew lime...lemon yellow...with black accents. Paired with a coordinating reversible eye popping mid century abstract design on the backside...and a piping made from scraps from the parakeet remnants. ! It measures 22 " x 20" in size and has a hidden zipper for easy insert of a pillow form, which is not included. It's just best to have these critters hanging around on pillows...rather than a life stuck in a cage :)
