If you love unusual artistic elements in your vintage textiles...then this is one not to be passed by. It is a very large original salesman sample of period 1950's mid century Atomic...in a origami style that exudes a slight japanese flair with some cross hatch brushstrokes. It measures 49 inches wide x 49 inches long. It is unused old stock that was used by designers in the 1950's who either sold textiles door to door or as designer pieces for order in the store. A commercial slub cotton rayon mix...heavy upholstery fabric with a ecru off cream ground with huge black and darkest emerald teal origami abstracts with dove gray accents...two shades of lime crosshatch brushstroke designs...with white lines. You will see as you look through my photos that there are also 3 smaller samples sewn along the top of 3 other colorways that were offered in this design masterpiece. Each has a paper sticker label on the backside denoting the color. If you are smitten with mid century...overwhelmed by atomics...and wild about origami mid century...then whatchoooo waitin for...you know what to do!
