Florida Bungalow was one of the first innovators to create huge quality drama and flamboyant pillows for 30 something years. I am known for the antique shows and textile shows throughout the country and especially Miami Beach. I have a unusual creative eye that conjures up unique and precious pieces of vintage art by todays standards. So let us transport you back to a time and place far from today in a world of everlasting nostalgia and whimsy.
This offering is for ONE barkcloth pillow cover with INSERT. For the obsessed cowboy enthusiast...the ones who dream of their childhoods...or their parents and grandparents childhoods and seek to re-create it is some small...yet powerful form. This unused textured nubby barkcloth is a rare pattern cut from my original bolt of 1950's barkcloth in a creamy lemon yellow. Scenes of rodeo...cowboy life...westernalia...in true red...burgundy...sky blue...dove gray...varied creamy to dark chocolates...grassy lime...dark teal green...creamy tangerine...with black and white accents. Paired with a swank double piping contributing to the boldness of pattern using grassy lime and yellow piping trim and a sweet textured barkcloth sky blue backside. It measures 22 " x 22" in size and has a hidden zipper for easy insert of a pillow form. Texas is far away...rodeos are a pastime...but using this 1950's upcycled beaut will get you that much closer to Texas!
