Florida Bungalow was one of the first innovators to create huge quality dramatic and flamboyant pillows for 30 something years. I am known for the antique shows and textile shows throughout the country and especially Miami Beach. I have a unusual creative eye that conjures up unique and precious pieces of vintage art by todays standards. So let us transport you back to a time and place far from today in a world of everlasting nostalgia and whimsy.
This offering is for ONE barkcloth pillow cover..in a design of authentic barkcloth in the Egret on Swirl pattern...unused and unwashed old stock from the 1930's...the chartreuse and turquoise greens are ELECTRIC...sending sensations to the prefrontal cortex...serotonin releasing to those in the know...one of the more rare and collectible of the bird patterns and one reserved for the Miami Beach hotel design scene. Chartreuse...turquoise...avocado...creamy charcoal...creamy dove...bubble gum pink...deep dark raspberry...aqua blue...with black and white accents. Paired with a fabulous barkcloth zebra pattern on the backside and as a patchwork of piping of scraps for the piping. It measures 22 " x 20" in size and has a hidden zipper for easy insert of a pillow form, which is not included. if you would like one, please contact me.
