Florida Bungalow was one of the first innovators to create huge quality dramatic and flamboyant pillows for 30 something years. I am known for the antique shows and textile shows throughout the country and especially Miami Beach. I have a unusual creative eye that conjures up unique and precious pieces of vintage art by todays standards. This offering is for ONE barkcloth pillow cover WITH INSERT. These timeless relics from days past always have a way of tugging the nostalgic heart strings and this beauty here for a visit from the past...has all the bells and whistled for some soft hearted goodness. A unused cotton from the 1930's...it's called "Design Scissors" and is signed on the left side edge off the pillow...it is one of my legendary pillow signatures that I like to do for authenticity and my own creative spin. A luscious spring bouquet...Hollywood Glam...Regency...Shabby CHIC...all right here packed in to one gorgeous example of post victoriana! A vanilla cream ground...soft pinks...periwinkle blues...cocoas and lattes...merlot chocolate...sage and minty greens...mauves...chartreuse and pale yellows...with dark lime meets teal green accents. I paired it with a nice heavy cotton quilted matelasse in coordinating creamy vanilla as the backside and the piping. It measures 23 " x 21" in size and has a hidden zipper for easy insert of a pillow form. For the old souls...the vintage design visionary...the sensitive lovers of the earth...the salt of shabby chic...the floral traditionalists...and the ones seeking optimal palpable beauty in their hands and within their vernacular!
