Florida Bungalow was one of the first innovators to create huge quality drama and flamboyant pillows for 30 something years. I am known for the antique shows and textile shows throughout the country and especially Miami Beach. I have a unusual creative eye that conjures up unique and precious pieces of vintage art by todays standards. So let us transport you back to a time and place far from today in a world of everlasting nostalgia and whimsy.
This offering is for ONE barkcloth pillow cover with INSERT. This rare and beastly unusual upholstery linen has been transformed into a piece of 3 dimensional art! I've done this beauty its due diligence to completely capitalize on the design front in a way that does it the most justice. A design of Etruscan horses and chariots...ancient breed of textile for sure...with a twist of pop art in the use of color. A ecru linen ground with tangerine and blood orange...paired unexpectedly with a sherbet pink...purple and rusty chocolate...with putty celery...with black accents. It measures 23 " x 24" in size and has a hidden zipper for easy insert of a pillow form, which is not included. Charging strong horses surrounded by a slight iconic Brutalist architecture is nothing short of incredibly fantastic and rare.
