Florida Bungalow was one of the first innovators to create huge quality drama and flamboyant pillows for 30 something years. I am known for the antique shows and textile shows throughout the country and especially Miami Beach. I have a unusual creative eye that conjures up unique and precious pieces of vintage art by todays standards. So let us transport you back to a time and place far from today in a world of everlasting nostalgia and whimsy.
This offering is for ONE barkcloth pillow cover WITH INSERT. A pure delight to have in your visual perspective...perhaps saying good morning with coffee or sipping a cocktail saying good night...whatever time of the day this happy pillow has all the bells and whistles to bring some beauty and sunshine of vintage into your world. A unused textured nubby 1930's barkcloth...a eggshell white ground with parrot tulips and cottage roses...but without the colorway it would hold little of the same value...as the colors combined with pattern just send me!! Varied candied raspberry...orchid pinks...creamy dove and charcoal grays...dark teal....dark aqua...creamy aqua turquoise...chartreuse...with black accents. Paired in a way to capitalize on all the bells and whistles I've added a turquoise short brush fringe and pink piping...with a luxe creamy aquamarine blue velvet backside. It measures 23 " x 23" in size and has a hidden zipper for easy insert of a pillow form. If you've always dreamed of being a starlet...this is a start...decorating like the most grand movie stars ever to overtake design and decor in Hollywood.
