I am known for the antique shows and textile shows throughout the country and especially Miami Beach. I have a unusual creative eye that conjures up unique and precious pieces of vintage art by todays standards. I mean seriously...can you even imagine the rareness and novelty sensation this 1950's smooth novelty cotton fabric can do to create a pillow by todays standards? Well...LOTS...this rare 1950's beauty is loaded with mambo divinity...scenes of showtime...very Broadway...marquee lights highlighting show time...tickets...trumpets..and latin dancers...hailing "The Palms MAMBO Ballroom. A creamy gray ground with creamy golden chartreuse...true red...with dove gray and black and white accents. Paired perfectly with a double piping in black and red and a soft luxe creamy gray velvet backside. It measures 20 " x 20" in size and has a hidden zipper for easy insert of a pillow form. Miami Beach back in the day and today was rife with latin dance...shows at ballrooms...cabaret bars in hotel lobbies on Ocean Drive. Today you can own a piece of mambo king history...in a true to life spirited pillow with tons of dance swagger.
