Florida Bungalow was one of the first innovators to create huge quality dramatic and flamboyant pillows for 30 something years. I am known for the antique shows and textile shows throughout the country and especially Miami Beach. I have a unusual creative eye that conjures up unique and precious pieces of vintage art by todays standards. So let us transport you back to a time and place far from today in a world of everlasting nostalgia and whimsy.
This offering is for ONE barkcloth pillow cover. I did a club in Miami Beach 18 years ago in a literal Caribbean Nights design...distressed caramel leather chairs...lots of golden camel hair velvet draperies from floor to ceiling with wooden ceiling fans made from rattan...tropical foliage everywhere and latin music playing for happy hour. I used this fabric for pillows and re-created this one in honor of that design inspiration. A cool creamy aqua turquoise blue....banana yellow...golden yellow...rusty chocolate...with black and white accents. Paired with a turquoise blue textured barkcloth backside with a ZING of electricity with a florescent lime piping, It measures 22 " x 19" in size and has a hidden zipper for easy insert of a pillow form, which is not included. A wonderful embellishment for so many design vernaculars...tropical...Island...Miami Beach...Key West!
