Florida Bungalow was one of the first innovators to create huge quality dramatic and flamboyant pillows for 30 something years. I am known for the antique shows and textile shows throughout the country and especially Miami Beach. I have a unusual creative eye that conjures up unique and precious pieces of vintage art by todays standards. So let us transport you back to a time and place far from today in a world of everlasting nostalgia and whimsy.
This offering is for ONE barkcloth pillow cover with INSERT...this handsome pillow has everything to enrich the lives of any seaside or coastal chic or tropical soul. A patternry that consolidates a sort of drive to Key West allure. If you've ever taken US1 from Miami to Key West you have surely seen the scenes mangroves of wetland foliage...sea oats...and flowers...the most beautiful drive if ever you can. A cocoa chocolate textured nubby unused ground...cut right from bolt...with darker chocolate...creamy turquoise aqua blue...darker shaders of turquoise blues...coffee...dark chocolate...cobalt blue navy...with black and white accents. This pattern is called "Design Nassau"...eluding to the Bahamas. Paired divinely with a coordinating turquoise luxe velvet backside with a simple and perfect white piping trim. It measures 22 " x 19" in size and has a hidden zipper for easy insert of a pillow form. I could see this in a contemporary space...chrome and glass coffee table and lots of driftwood and white furnishings. Whether Florida or any coastal place in between will be pure divinity.
