I am known for the antique shows and textile shows throughout the country and especially Miami Beach. I have a unusual creative eye that conjures up unique and precious pieces of vintage art by todays standards. This offering is for ONE barkcloth pillow cover WITH INDERT! As if you were transported back to 1937 in a South Beach hotel at a cabaret bar staring feverishly at a luxe dark emerald velvet club chair with this beauty adorning it. A definite design powerhouse with a more traditional allure using bullion fringe to really draw all the Art Deco swank from it. The Egret & Swirl pattern is a well known exhibition of the post Art Deco history of Miami Beach...a design custom made for Miami Beach hotels and a design showcased at the 1939 NYC World's Fair as a design exhibition of innovation and mass production of textiles. A fabulous textured...original vintage...nubby barkcloth front...paired with a high end velvet chenille backside and a butter gold bullion fringe. This pillow is heavy and very well constructed. It measures 24"x24" square and includes the bullion fringe.
