Florida Bungalow was one of the first innovators to create huge quality dramatic and flamboyant pillows for 30 something years. I am known for the antique shows and textile shows throughout the country and especially Miami Beach. I have a unusual creative eye that conjures up unique and precious pieces of vintage art by todays standards. So let us transport you back to a time and place far from today in a world of everlasting nostalgia and whimsy.
This offering is for ONE barkcloth pillow cover. if you need an insert, please contact me. One of the most rare and beautiful of all the color ways "Design Zomba" came in at the turn of 1937...this unused textured nubby barkcloth has all you need to take a textile trip back in time....a candied red ground with creamy charcoal and dove grays...aqua pool blue...with a dearest darkest eggplant purple that may read as black...but it is not...honeydew limes and watery chartreuse lime...with white accents. Paired with a vibrant grassy lime piping trim and a smooth turquoise backside.
Measures 20"x22" with a hidden zipper for easy stuffing of a pillow form. Nothing better than a sofa full of mixed barkcloth tropical pillow designs...for me it is the ultimate serotonin uplifter!
