I am known for the antique shows and textile shows throughout the country and especially Miami Beach. I have a unusual creative eye that conjures up unique and precious pieces of vintage art by todays standards. So let us transport you back to a time and place far from today in a world of everlasting nostalgia and whimsy.
This offering is for ONE barkcloth pillow cover WITH INSERT. I found a bolt of this beautiful stuff and I was so mesmerized by the beauty of its texture...pattern and colorway...it is all ways ticks ever box for the cutest and most sophisticated fabric for which to create some sofa art pieces. A very chic classic texture...a barkcloth with a slight damask to its texture design...like beautiful design imprints of a decorative stucco wall! A creamy oyster gray white with bubble gum and dark rose pinks...asparagus lime...avocado wasabi...charcoal and dove grays...lime...with black and white accents. Paired with a double piping in chartreuse lime and pink and a tufted pink chenille on the backside that I think just sends this piece to a whole other level of heaven! It measures 22 " x 20" in size and has a hidden zipper for easy insert of a pillow form. Whether a gift from yesterday for a child of today or a time transportive gift to self to take you on a journey of whimsy to your past life.
