Bold Yucatan Island Life 30's Art Deco Mid Century Barkcloth Fabric PILLOW

Florida Bungalow was one of the first innovators to create huge quality dramatic and flamboyant pillows for 30 something years. I am known for the antique shows and textile shows throughout the country and especially Miami Beach. I have a unusual creative eye that conjures up unique and precious pieces of vintage art by todays standards. So let us transport you back to a time and place far from today in a world of everlasting nostalgia and whimsy.

This offering is for ONE barkcloth pillow cover. As featured in the book "Fabulous Fabrics of the 20's 30's 40's & 50's" see photo I've attached. This fabric came from the author of that book...a collection I bought in 2013. A textured nubby unused off the bolt cut for a magical up cycled pillow with a vibrant bold red ground...palpable flamboyant leaves shoot into the sky like tropical fireworks...chartreuse yellow and lime...turquoise blue green...varied taupe grays...chocolate...aqua...with black and white accents. Paired with a coordinating aqua piping trim and a turquoise blue textured nubby backside. It measures 22 " x 22" in size and has a hidden zipper for easy insert of a pillow form, which is not included. We may not be Yucatan...but you can live it each day as if you do!
