Florida Bungalow was one of the first innovators to create huge quality dramatic and flamboyant pillows for 30 something years. I am known for the antique shows and textile shows throughout the country and especially Miami Beach. I have a unusual creative eye that conjures up unique and precious pieces of vintage art by todays standards. So let us transport you back to a time and place far from today in a world of everlasting nostalgia and whimsy.
This offering is for ONE barkcloth pillow cover. Oh my goodness the level of pizazz and vintage intoxication this beauty encompasses. A rare and highly sought after print of pink flamingos wading in the Art Deco shores of South Beach :) or at least that is where they are in my mind. a smooth crisp black commercial grade cotton...lots of pink...turquoise blue...lemon yellow...orchid purples...eggplant...varied creamy charcoal and dove grays...tangerine orange...merlot burgundy with white accents. paired delectably with a coordinating pool blue backside and bright yellow piping trim. It measures 23 " x 23" in size and has a hidden zipper for easy insert of a pillow form, which is not included. if you would like one, please contact me. Of all of the patterns of tropical birds...I can't think of another that I have fancied over the course of the last 40 years of my life. THIS is ME!
