Olive Mae 1930's Pink Roses Shabby Chic Victorian Vintage Fabric PILLOW

Florida Bungalow was one of the first innovators to create huge quality dramatic and flamboyant pillows for 30 something years. I am known for the antique shows and textile shows throughout the country and especially Miami Beach. I have a unusual creative eye that conjures up unique and precious pieces of vintage art by todays standards. So let us transport you back to a time and place far from today in a world of everlasting nostalgia and whimsy.

This offering is for ONE barkcloth pillow cover WITH INSERT. A truly sweet example of true shabby chic without the shabby! A old fashioned smooth old cotton...a former drapery panel salvaged from a estate in Asbury Park NJ decades ago and have made pillows with it since...they always did great at my beach shows...and shabby chicsters in Cali always gravitated towards these sweet feminine patterns. Gorgeous creamy pink...and creamy white ground with leafy neoclassical scrolls...magenta...bubble gum oink...chartreuse...lemon...sage and creamy sage...periwinkle and lavender...accented with eggplant and dusty cocoa. Paired with a sweet creamy pink quilted chenille backside and piping. It measures 21 " x 18" in size and has a hidden zipper for easy insert of a pillow form, which is not included. I've dedicated this to my grandmother Olive Mae...who was the true matriarch of shabby chic at her Jersey Shore and St Petersburg cottages she bedecked with floral patterns we now know as shabby chic.
