Florida Bungalow was one of the first innovators to create huge quality dramatic and flamboyant pillows for 30 something years. I am known for the antique shows and textile shows throughout the country and especially Miami Beach. I have a unusual creative eye that conjures up unique and precious pieces of vintage art by todays standards. This offering is for ONE barkcloth pillow cover WITH INSERT...one of the most palpable and literal patterns that personifies South Beach and the Art Deco madness that WAS Miami Beach and the movement of tropical and mid century barkcloth patterns that were the quintessential patterns of the time. It was all about flamboyance...now some of us are naturally flamboyant and we crave it in our lives...while others look down their noses at us...the boring traditionalists...those with safe taste and unwilling to risk judgment. If this isn you...please move in to safer pastures. This one is for someone who's been dreaming of it...a person who celebrates themselves...their accomplishments and isn't afraid to stop on toes. This rare black textures nubby barkcloth has a black ground with a fireworks display of leafery and botanicals in colors sure to release some dopamine. Lots of lemon yellow...aqua creamy turquoise (sea blue)...magenta...merlot...asparagus lime...teal...with white accents. Paired glamorously with a very expensive rusty dark pink brush fringe and a coordinating sea blue textured cotton backside. It measures 24 " x 24" in size and has a hidden zipper for easy insert of a pillow form.
